Hill Tops Gold welcomed researchers from the Centre for Ore Deposit and Earth Sciences (CODES) at the University of Tasmania to the Kinzan Prospect in New South Wales as part of a collaborative study aimed at unlocking the full potential of the gold system.

In May 2026, the CODES team completed detailed geological and structural mapping, validated historical drill core data, collected rock and core samples for advanced laboratory analysis, and integrated both historical and newly acquired field information to identify potential new exploration targets.

The study is focused on improving our understanding of the geological controls on gold mineralisation and assessing the broader prospectivity of the Kinzan system. Using advanced analytical techniques, researchers will investigate alteration and mineralisation patterns, determine the evolution of the mineralising system, and develop exploration vectors that may help locate concealed gold deposits.

The outcomes are expected to deliver refined geological models, enhance exploration targeting, and support the identification of future drill targets at Kinzan.
