Hill Tops Gold is pleased to announce its maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) in accordance with JORC (2012) for the Kinzan Project, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of the Company’s gold portfolio.
Key Highlights
- Maiden Inferred Mineral Resource of 730 kt at 1.7 g/t Au for 40 koz
- Resource defined across the Warumba and Adelargo prospects
- Reported at a 0.3 g/t Au cut-off, aligned with open-pit mining benchmarks
- Based on ~25 m × ~25 m drill spacing, supporting geological continuity
- Estimated using industry-standard methodologies with independent input from Exora Consulting Pty Ltd
Resource Overview
The Kinzan MRE represents the first consolidated estimate of gold mineralisation across the project, incorporating both historical and recent drilling data. Following rigorous validation and quality control processes, the dataset was used to define multiple mineralised domains associated with structurally controlled gold-bearing systems.
The resource has been classified as Inferred under the JORC Code (2012), reflecting the current level of drilling density and confidence in geological continuity.
Technical Confidence
The estimate has been developed using robust and industry-accepted techniques, including:
- Detailed geological modelling of mineralised domains
- Grade estimation using Inverse Distance Squared (ID²)
- Comprehensive geostatistical analysis and sensitivity testing
- Strict data validation, with lower-confidence historical data excluded
- Strong QA/QC performance, including certified standards, blanks, and duplicates
These factors underpin the reliability of the reported resource and provide a sound basis for future growth.
Growth Potential
Importantly, the current resource remains open for expansion. Mineralisation is defined within structurally controlled zones that demonstrate continuity, with clear opportunities to:
- Expand the resource along strike and at depth
- Increase resource confidence through infill drilling
- Upgrade classification from Inferred to Indicated with additional data
Strategic Significance
The Kinzan maiden resource establishes a strong foundation for Hill Tops Gold, confirming the presence of a coherent and potentially scalable gold system within the project area.
With favourable gold market conditions and a growing understanding of the deposit, the Company is well positioned to advance Kinzan through the next stages of exploration and evaluation.
